Missouri's Black Pearl

 Pearl is a strongly gaited mare; she rarely moves at anything faster than a dead walk without being in a four-beat gait.  She has looks, confirmation, brains, a naturally gaited movement, and a very calm mind; she has rarely shown fear or hesitation of any thing new.  She was expected to become a broodmare in our breeding program in addition to a wonderful smooth gaited trail horse, but when we retired we quit breeding as business just as she was coming of age to do so but she is now Dan's number one ride.  Pearl also has an excellent gaited pedigree with Windenstone, Omar Sherif, Stellar, Patchet Hill, Jan Mabie Pace, and deep Mary Mels lines in her bottom side including Mary Mels Calypso. She has well represented gaited Morgans on the many rides and clinics that we attend around the country. Though she was just coming of age to breed when we quit breeding as a business, she is now in foal for the first time to a gorgeous palomino Morgan stallion and due in February, 2022.
