LeDan Morgans/Southwest Scoot Boots
This video shows Scoots Boots, the ultimate equine hoof boot, on the job during a wide variety of genres of equine riding activities and the outstanding job they do protecting the horses feet.
At Southwest Scoot Boots we are willing and able to come to you to assist you in sizing your horse for the correct boot size to purchase if you're in Southern Arizona. But, we can and will also assist you where ever you are in acquiring the Scoot Boot products you need. When we come to you, we will expertly fit your horse on site and can often make adjustments to fit horses that have hoof anomalies due to injuries or other problems that make them difficult to fit. Best of all, we bring the whole store with a full range of sizes and accessories with us; you will almost always get your boots that day rather than waiting for them to be shipped and hoping they fit correctly, and not have to re-ship another pair and try again with a different size if they don't. It is always better to have this done with the horse on site.
Here at LeDan Morgans we have been barefooting our horses for over fifteen years. We have used a variety of boots over those years on new horses undergoing the conversion to barefoot, on freshly trimmed horses, or on rides we were unsure of the terrain we would encounter. We have had boots hard to put on, that came off too easy, problems with cables, weak velcro straps fail, that trapped mud, sand, and water, and wore down quickly. We discovered Scoot Boots, tested them extensively in rocks, water, mud, and while gaiting, and all those problems are gone! These boots do the job and are very user friendly and we highly recommend them. End your frustrations with the old, and try the latest in equine hoof boot technology!
The Scoot Boot is the latest innovation in hoof boot technology which is superior to any other horse boot on the market. This is due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is due to the Scoot Boot being constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU), as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

*(Note: It is recommended you have your sales representative do the sizing for you, if possible, to ensure a correct fit; or send you detailed instructions if not. Scoot Boot sizes do not come in sizes that relate to other boots you may have had in the past and come in slim and regular sizes).
Many of you reading this may be asking yourself that question; why not continue to just shoe my horses?
Dr. Tomas Tesky, DVM, a specialist on the equine hoof and leg, answered that question back in 2006 in an article he wrote for The Horse's Hoof website and magazine. If you really care about your horse, this is a must read article!
Here is the web address to it: https://www.thehorseshoof.com/TeskeyBreaking.html.
Note: There are many links at the bottom of the article with extensive additional resources for learning more about barefooting your horse!
